Here's a question....
I wonder what imagery you have in mind when you think of this verse:
"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God"
If God's glory is some kind of personal transcendence - how on earth would this verse make sense - it pictures someone working to become a shining deity?
so then your definition of sin is what? not being splendorous enough?
as opposed to being utterly loving and other-centered, like Jesus..
